Each year, the York Theatre Company reaches 30,000 to 35,000 people? Last season, our theatre company provided more than 200 musical theatre performances!
- The last two Mainstage seasons received a combined 27 Drama Desk, Lucille Lortel, Theatre World, Drama League and Outer Critics Circle nominations.
- Our last Musicals in Mufti Series - musical theatre gems in stage concert performances - was the best-attended Mufti Series since its inception.
- More than 6,000 people come to the Developmental Reading Series each year, which is offered free of charge to the general public.
- Our ticket sales only cover 30% of our expenses - we rely on the support of our friends (corporations, foundations, government agencies, and individuals like you!) to continue our work.
Such extensive programming is not possible without YOU - your support, encouragement and dollars make all the difference. We look forward to see you at the theatre throughout the 2010-11 season!
